The Collective was founded by Lucy Abraham in 2014 with the belief that acoustic solutions could be high-performing, visually considered and developed with a more responsible approach to materials and waste.

Today, alongside Steve Lewis, the business has evolved into a design and manufacturing studio developing integrated systems across walls, ceilings and collaboration surfaces.

Everything is designed to work together. From Collective PET™ and Re.Wrap® to RailLock™ and Cast™, materials and systems are developed as part of a connected approach, helping architects and designers create more coherent and resolved interior environments.

Alongside product development, The Collective Creates reflects a wider commitment to collaboration, material responsibility and long-term thinking. Through Studio and R&D, the business continues to explore bespoke design, circular manufacturing and future-focused material innovation.

Still founder-led, The Collective combines design thinking, manufacturing expertise and a considered approach to materials to create systems shaped around how spaces are actually experienced.

Our head office is based in the seaside town of Folkestone, our London studio is in Shoreditch and our factory team are based in Bedfordshire.
