Design
When designing a workplace across 13 floors and 517 offices, consistency matters.
For this landmark City of London project, The Collective delivered its first fully integrated package of writable glass and acoustic solutions, bringing together collaboration surfaces, acoustic performance and bespoke detailing through a single design approach.
The scheme incorporated custom acoustic whiteboard assemblies featuring colour-matched trims, magnetic low-iron back-painted glass and Re.Wrap® acoustic panels upholstered in Camira Era Prompt.
By developing the glass and acoustic elements together, the design team was able to achieve a cohesive visual language throughout the workplace while simplifying specification and coordination.
Delivery
Delivering a project of this scale required extensive collaboration between design, manufacturing andinstallation teams.
Manufactured locally across our Folkestone and Biggleswade facilities, the project included bespoke fabrication throughout, including the production of more than 9,300 aluminium split battens and over 3,000 drilled and countersunk fixing points.
The integrated approach allowed glass, acoustics and detailing to be coordinated through a single supply partner, reducing complexity and helping maintain programme certainty across all 13 floors.
Sustainability
Alongside the design brief, the client established an ambitious sustainability charter focused on recycled content, responsible sourcing and supporting local manufacturing.
The Collective was selected in part for its ability to align with these objectives through recycled-content acoustic materials, UK manufacturing and local SME production.
The project demonstrates how sustainability can extend beyond product selection alone, encompassing supply chain decisions, local manufacturing, material responsibility and project coordination.
Designed to work together.
More than a product installation, this project demonstrates The Collective's philosophy in practice, combining acoustics, collaboration surfaces and bespoke manufacturing into one connected interior solution.
A workplace shaped through performance, material and design.
